The reigning Moto2 world champion, Fernandez is the one rookie on the 2023 MotoGP grid, having been signed by Tech3 to hitch its KTM-backed, GASGAS-branded squad.

“I’m targeted on my job and I would like extra. I don’t need to be fourth. I’m right here to win, so I’m targeted by myself job. That’s it.”
Fernandez believes Le Mans will likely be a turning level for his season because it was the primary spherical by which he “began to really feel the bike, to understand how I could be quick” as he trusts in himself higher.
“I’m beginning to have emotions with this bike, as a result of till now my feeling was so so,” he defined.
“I didn’t have my very own emotions and my very own ideas about something.
“[On Saturday at Le Mans] I used to be afraid to observe my emotions and as we speak [Sunday] I stated OK, after two crashes, I am going to go together with the mushy [front tyre], I really feel good with it and it paid off.
“So, this for the long run is sweet for me to observe my instincts.”
