Martin gained the dash race at Le Mans and went on to finish second in the grand prix on Sunday to register his first most important race podium of the season.

After Marquez collided with Martin in Portugal, the Pramac rider says their Le Mans battle was the easiest way “to unravel our issues”.
“I had a very huge battle with Marc,” Martin mentioned on Sunday in France.

Martin admits his battle with Marquez finally stopped him from with the ability to problem Marco Bezzecchi for the win.
